Can I set the preferred path on a MSA1500 with MPIO

I have a MSA1500 with firmware 7.00/2.02 with MPIO 1.00.02 for active/active controllers. When I issue the command “hpdsm paths device=1” I only see one active path. It does not show the second path. Will I have to connect directly into the MSA1500 and set the preferred path with the cli?

Does anyone have the part number of the serial cable that comes with the MSA?

Not sure on your first question, but the serial cable for the MSA is 316131-001

Hello Gene,

is the logical drive presented to both HBAs of the host? Check the setting in the "Selective Storage Presentation" of the MSA.
