Can I use Fc Cable instead of Fc Cooper Cable in eva 4100?

hi all ,

i have eva 4100 (2 controller and 4 disk enclosure), i have 5 Fc cooper cable (4Gb) and i need more Fc Cooper cable, Can i use Fc cable and SFp 4gb instead of Fc cooper for conecting contrller to disk enclouser?

Hi

it should work because when you connect expansion cabinate to EVA8000 you use fiber cables and 2GB SFP but beware that not every model of SFP will work. If you find the expansion kit secsifications you can see the SFP model or just test and see if everything is OK

I am not sure but I think the internal connection in the EVA6000 is 2GB or 4GB see expansion kit details
