Cluster disk array expansion
I have two ML530 servers and a RA4100 disk array. The array is split into 5,3 and 2
disk volumes.
The existing disks are 18.2 gig, I would like to replace these with 72 gig drives.
The server is used for file, print and exchange 2000.
OS is win2000 server.

Re: Cluster disk array expansion
A giant undertaking but possible. You could replace them one at a time, in some downtime, allowing the rebuild between each. One a night is always good. At the end you will the free space the 72GB drive addition provides. Or backup and restore may be more suitable for you.
