Command View 9.3 or 9.4 on VM on ESXi
I'm having issues getting this to work. Does anyone have this working, and if so can you tell me how you did it? I was able to enable vmdirectpath on my ESXi host, but then the host could no longer see the datastores as the HBA's are now being directly attached to the VM's?
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Command View 9.3 or 9.4 on VM on ESXi
Running Command View in a VM with VMDirectPath requires dedicated HBA's in order to continue to use the ESX server for other virtual machines.
When you enable VMDirectPath for a particular HBA or Nic, you are effectively removing that hardware from the Virtual Resource pool and allowing it to be only used by 1 VM.
What server models do you have?
There is another method to use CV within a VM without using DirectPath. How was the decision to use Direct Path made?
