Command View EVA 7

I have CVE 7 installed on a windows 2003 management server and connected it to an EVA 5000 (VCS 4.004) via a FC switch. CVE launches allright however no array is discovered and an error message appears. The navigation tree remains empty. What might be the reason

Check the FC connections between that server and the EVA, and the zoning.

Connections are checked and OK. So the problem lies somewhere else.

What's that error message you get when opening Command View?

Do you see the "HP Command View EVA" service as "Started" on your management server?

Also - this may be redundant, but you never actually confirmed that you checked the zoning in your FC switch. If you log into the switch, do you see that the management server has logged in to the fabric?
