Command View EVA License recovery

Hi,

I just get rid the CV EVA server and now I don┬┤t have a backup of the license key or the Order number.
Is there a way to recover or request the license with the EVA WWN?
The Licensing Center (www.webware.hp.com) is asking me for the order number.

Regards,
Keep learning!!!

Re: Command View EVA License recovery

Hi,

If you already have CV-EVA v7.0 or later, the new server will find the previous registered licenses inside the EVA. So, you just connect (zoning) the new server and the eva.

Re: Command View EVA License recovery

Try finding it under Program files -> Hewlett-Packard -> sanworks.

Try to look in all folders, as far I remember there is a file of license key in this location nt sure in which version.

Hope it will help you

Re: Command View EVA License recovery

The installed licenses are stored in a text file called cvlicenses.txt.
You can find it under Pgrogram Files/Sanworks/Elemt Manager for StorageWorks HSV/licenses.

Re: Command View EVA License recovery

Hi, you can request for a new license orderno, via your ITRC profile linked to the contract for EVA. The new order no, can be used in webware.hp.com to generate a license

Please let me know if this worked.
