Compaq 4100 Raid Array

I have just added 3 disks to my array. I have successfully extended the logical drive using the utility. I now need to make this extension viewable by the WIN2K operating system. I can create a partition in disk management, but I am guessing this will not merge with the current partition. How can I do it?
