Compaq Storageworks

I am looking for a manual for a Compaq Storageworks EL1502 disk array. Does anyone know where I could find one?

Thank you for your help.

Re: Compaq Storageworks

Hi,

I don't recognise the EL1502 - neither does Google...

Are you sure that's the correct model number ?

Cheers,

Rob

Re: Compaq Storageworks

Looks like it is an M4314R disk drive enclosure, just sold under a different name - oh those marketing people...

Re: Compaq Storageworks

Hi,

Which is also another name for the MSA30, by the looks of things...

Try here:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Home.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=373244&submit.y=7&submit.x=3〈=en&cc=us

Remember, despite its name, there is little "smart" about the Modular Smart Array 30 - it's just a disk shelf. All of the smart stuff happens in the array controller that you hook it up to.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Rob

Re: Compaq Storageworks

The M4314 is Ultra-3 while the MSA30 is U320 capable. An old MSA1000 quickspec (november 2003) also called the MSA30 'Modell 4414'.
