and A3 at 9.25.0.
If I install a A3232A storage processor I can come up fully into gridmgr and can configure luns with no problem.
How do I communicate with this array using the new style SP's? I have tried several SP's with the same results.
Thanks,
Ben

Re: Configuring A3550 Model 20
You have to upgrade the microcode revision in order to see the SP620s.
It is recommended to get an HP engineer to do this.

Solution> Flare revision 9.25.0 or 9.26.07 is dedicated to SP320, 9.55.01 or 9.56.07 for SP620 respectively so you need to load flare rev either 9.55.01 or 9.56.07 in the disk array.
If you have a model 20 (SP620) nearby , pull out one of the database drives, that is, A0,B0,C0,A3 that already contain flarecode and put it into your array, therefore, your disk array will be able to boot from that drive with no error.
Once FC30 is up, it automatically copies its flarecode to several disk drives called database drive.
Hope this helps,

or have moved hardware around..
Do your controllers have a switch? enable/disable on the back of them?
What is the PROM code
1.73 or 8.02?
Later,
Bill
