Configuring Array with SCU
I am trying to configre a 3200 array in a DL580 using the Compaq System Configuration Utility floppies.
I created the SCU disks from Smartstart 5.1
I boot up from SCU Disk 1 and follow the menus to System Configuration, Disk Array Configuration, and it then asks for the Array Configuration Utility Disk. I insert ACU Disk 1, which I also created from Smartstart 5.1, and it tells me it will reboot and run the ACU.
After the reboot I get the non-system disk or disk error message as the ACU disk is not bootable!
Is there actually a way of configuring the array without using the CD.
My ultimate goal is to configure the array remotely throught the RIB Lights Out Board, but, for various reasons, I cannot use the Smartstart Scripting Toolkit.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
