Configuring Disks from a VA7400 on a Sun Machine

Hi,

I have a new client who has a hp storage device, a VA7400 which is connected to a Sun server via. a switch. We need to configure additional disks that have been made available on the VA7400.

Please could you confirm that I have the corrects steps to do this:

1. Backup /kernel/drv/sd.conk
2. Get a listing of all the existing disks using format
3. Add the new targets and luns for the additional disks in /kernel/drv/sd.conf
4. Reboot the Sun server
5. Format will display all the additional disks
