Connecting A5159A to EMC 3830--How to terminate?
I have 2 A5159A HBAs in a rp7410 that I need to connect to my EMC 3830 via C6M-SUN SCSI cables from EMC. EMC requires that either cable or HBA to be terminated, but not both. EMC cable C6M-SUN SCSI cable is not terminated. Thus, the A5159A HBAs need to be terminated. Question is, how do I terminate A5159A cards?
Your help is most appreciated!

Re: Connecting A5159A to EMC 3830--How to terminate?
Hi,
the auto-termination is controlled on the A5159A on the hardware of the adapter by jumpers. I think that the auto-termination is on by default...

Re: Connecting A5159A to EMC 3830--How to terminate?
Yes, the cards has auto-termination on the HBA. However documentation clains that termination is automatically set if not cable is attached. EMC wants termination on HBA if cable is attached.
EMC contact claims that no additional termination is required.
I was hoping someone had experienced with this configuration to confirm what EMC is telling me.
Thanks for your help!
