Connecting an Autoraid 12H to a Windows 2000 server

Does anyone know if it's posible to connect an Autoraid 12H to a Windows 2000 server? If it is possible, what does it require?

Scott,
you will need Adaptec 2944 SCSI host bus adapter (note: FWD/HVD type!) to physically connect AutoRAID to the host. Then you'll need to manage AutoRAID. You can do it using its front panel, but better is to install ARM (AutoRAID manager) software. As I remember latest was ver 3.3. Please note that connection to two HBAs within one host is not supported (all LUNs will be visible two times), you'll have to connect only one AutoRAID controller to the host.
FYI: please pay attention to AutoRAID's firmware. Latest is HP62

Hi,

The spares number for the Adaptec 2944 card is 401921-001. I'm not sure whether it's still available to purchase though.

The controller for AutoRAID 12H is using SCSI-2 wide differential interface. You may refer the manual here :
