Hello,
I've successfully configured CA between an XP 10000 and an XP 128. I've completed all the required steps (configure initiators and target ports, configure zoning and establishing the RCU/MCU relationship).
My gaol was to replicate Open-V LUNs from the XP1000 to the XP 128.
Now, I'm faced with a strange behavior: when I create the Open-V Luns on the XP 128 to use them as S-VOLs, I can never match the same size of those on the XP10000.
even if I create smaller ones (for e.g. 100GB), there is always a difference.
I think that this is preventing me from paring the 2 ones (I get an error regarding the LUN size).
Any hint?
Many thanks,
Farid.

Solution
HI Farid,
You need to have the SVols the EXACT same size for this to work. To accomplish this, create the SVol LDEVs using the Capacity Size as "Blocks" rather than the standard "MByte" sizing.
Sincerly,
Curt
