Controller not seen in CV EVA 6.0.2 after test with CV 9.0

I have a funny thing with my EVA3000.
VCS 4.100, CV 6.0.2.
After a test with a customer CV Server, running CV9.0, I cant see the Controllers of my EVA3000 anymore in CV 6.0.2. Even an Shutdown via CV is not possible anymore. If I try this, the CV tells me: no Controllers found

In the Hardware Section the Controller Enclosure is visible, but not controlers seen.

What has CV 9.0 done with my EVA Controllers?
How can I get back my controllers visible?

I dont know if u have installed cv6.0.2 now?
For some reason cv 6.0.2 is not compatible with firmware 4.100.Upgrade to 7.01,8.0,8.01,8.02 or 9.0.Let us know if this helps.

CV 9.0.0 ?
Is is also possible that this version has trashed the MLD meta-data.

If that has happened, you need an expert who dumps the current content, fixes the mess and loads it back into the EVA.

But I agree that you should try a supported version first.

Re: Controller not seen in CV EVA 6.0.2 after test with CV 9.0

Oh boys, the same happend with VCS4.007.
When I try CV 9.0 or CV 9.1 it works correctly.
But for an Testsystem I dont want to buy CV Licenses for so much money. And using NFR Licenses does it make not easier.

Yes, the MLD Meta-Data must be corrupted by just using CV 9.x. After doing this, there is no way back.

What happens if I Uninitialize the EVA?
Could this be working?

Hello,

could you please check the follow:

1) log on your sma
2) open the sssu
3) login with sma IP, user and password of cv
4) use the command: ls controller

See you both Controller?

5) use the command: ls controller full

Tell what kind of objecttype the controller have.

Have you tried an uninitialized? Solve it your problem?
