Hi
System: HP Proliant DL380 Gen10, HPE Smart Array P408i-a SR Gen 10, 2x300 GB disks, 2x600 GB disks.
RAID Configuration: 2x300 GB RAID-1. 2x600 GB configured as separate physical disks.
Problem: OS was accidentally installed on a single 600 GB disk.
Question: is it possible to migrate from a single 600 GB disk to RAID-1 without re-installing OS?
According to HP support they cannot provide clear answer whether this is possible, instead they simply provide ACU user guide that does not lead to answer, since OS is installed on a non-RAID disk.
Would be grateful for any guidelines in this matter.

SolutionAFAIK you cannot convert a direct access disk into RAID or vice versa because of different disk layout.
You should consider to use a disk cloning tool and copy/move the data to the other logical drive.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
