DS2405 and Switches
Hi All,
This might seem a very simple question, but plesae bear with me as i am a mere beginner! Is there any reason why you cannot use two ds2405s in a two node serviceguard cluster, with the arrays connecting through two 8 port SAN switches?
Any help appreciated,
Thanks
Steve

Re: DS2405 and Switches
I guess they are loop only devices and can not work in fabric? And BTW, are these DSes connected as JBODs or to VA controller enclosure?

Re: DS2405 and Switches
They're connected as JBOD's. I thought that they are 2Gb fibre devices with a 2nd optional controller, enabling them to work in HA environments?
Cheers
