Defrag a RAID 5 array?
Is it recommended to defrag a RAID 5 array or does that go against the design of RAID 5. If so, does COMPAQ recommend a specific DEFRAG tool?

Re: Defrag a RAID 5 array?
Compaq cannot seeing it is software based but Microsoft incorporated diskeeper into Windows 2000 and is great for windows nt also here is the link you can check it out http://www.diskeeper.com/execsoft.asp I have used it for years and it just gets better.
