Re: Delete LUN in AutoRaid12h

You can certianly try, can't see why not

arraydsp -i

arraydsp -L LUN# -d ARRAYID

or from the from panel I think you select Logical Unit next delete.

Re: Delete LUN in AutoRaid12h

Please do not delete LUN 0. As I remember it's used by ARM software to communicate with autoraid

Eugeny,

Are you sure ? I think its only FC60 & VA where you cant delete LUN 0 only modify the size.

Re: Delete LUN in AutoRaid12h

Manual says:
"The [array-id] used to address the disk array can be either the disk array serial number, or the character device file name of any LUN on the array (LUN 0 if no LUNs are created)".
For me it looks a little funny because there should be no device file for LUN 0 if "no LUNs are created", there should be only autoraid controller(s) device files.
Please note I said that not autoraid or user applications may have problems, but ARM software. I'm not sure it's really so, but would keep it in mind not to be surprised after LUN deletion arraydsp will tell 'device inquiry failed' or something like this
