Deleting Logical Drives and Arrays

I have an MSA1000 Fibre Connected in a Cluster to 2 Proliant 6400R's. Need to reconfigure some of the drives and arrays. Have removed the 2 disks I need to delete from Cluster resources. Will delete the partitions from Disk Manager on the active node.

My question is...is it necessary to uninstall the disks from device manager in Windows prior to deleting the Logical drives and Arrays in the Array Configuration Utility?
