Do I have to shutdown XP 12000 frame in the schedule poer outage?
We are going to have a scheduled power outage for about half hour. Do we have to shutdown XP 12000 frame before?
My impression is, the inside batteries whould hold on for such short power loss. but, I hav not been so clear on this, and could not get clear answers from HP support as well.
Please advice. Thanks!

Hi Hanry,
IMHO it is always better to graceful shutdown **any** device if you have a planned power outage - ask HP for assistance.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Do I have to shutdown XP 12000 frame in the schedule poer outage?
Hi,
I read the document, but am still not quite sure if I really need to power down XP frame before the scheduled power maintenance.
It seems that I don't need to since the battery should support a few hours longer, and we may only lost the power for half hour in the worse case?
