Re: EVA 4000: Unmappable Hardware
In Controller Events logs I have
The device loop configuration has changed on a HSV200 controller's Fibre Channel port.
An HSV200 controller has updated the physical disk drive map for a loop pair.
The retry count for a task assigned to a Drive Enclosure Environmental Monitoring Unit has been exhausted.
and this three logs repeat every ~10 minuts.
On second EVA2 non of the described events appears
any idea?

SolutionAre you running XCS 5.100?
Did this "just" happen while the EVA was running? (Already initialized)?
There is a known issue in XCS 5.100 that causes the EMU in Disk Enclosure 1 to reset/reboot/whatever and cause the shelf to look like it is unmappable. If you remove the EMU, wait 5 seconds and plug it back in... it may come back up with no issues. Check in CV-EVA to make sure.
From what I here, it may only effect EVA8000's, but I could be mistaken. I have a customer experiencing this issue and HP has confirmed it. Next release of the XCS "should" fix it, but it is a non critical situation, supposedly.

Re: EVA 4000: Unmappable Hardware
2. Reboot all EVA equpment
3. Check All CAB
4. Remove EMU and change it with EMU from secont EVA
problem still persist.
