EVA 4100

I have to installa a new Eva4100 but I have some problems in finding drivers, providers and MPIO drivers.
Where I could find the driver for HP Storageworks EVA 400/600 Storage Array Controller Device?
I tried to install also MPIO drivers from HP but I still continue have many HD instead of one. Any suggestion?

Re: EVA 4100

What is your OS and what type of HBAs are you using? The answers to these questions are needed to determine exactly which drivers and MPIO DSMs are required.

One thing you should check - you need the MPIO "Full Featured" DSM, not the "Basic" one.

The SACD does not need a real device driver. HP provides 'Smart Components' which include the device driver for the Fibre Channel adapter and the '.inf' file for the SACD.
The type of component depends on the specific adapter in your server. Let us know and we can tell you where to get it.

Re: EVA 4100

Thank you for your interest,
I've installed two HP FC1143 4GB PCI-X 2.0 HBA in a Dl380 G4 server. Server is attached to two HP StorageWorks 4/8 Base SAN Switch. So I see 4 times the same eva lun.

Re: EVA 4100

Hi,

What operating system ??

Which MPIO software did you try to install ?

If you're on Windows (which I'm guessing you are), then you probably need this download "HP MPIO Full Featured DSM (Device Specific Module) for EVA4000/6000/8000 Disk Arrays" from here:

Hope this helps,

Re: EVA 4100

I'm working with Windows 2003 and EVA 4100, is this driver suitable also for EVA4100 instead of EVA4000?
