EVA 4400 Host loosing connection to the host
Hello Team,
I have a strange problem with an EVA4400. there is a VDISK of 2TB mapped on a MS Windows 2003 Enterprise R2 host. The 2TB LUN stated showing Failed at the OS level, the customer tried to reactivated the LUN , then it just went off and the host can no longer see this LUN although it is present on the CV. I was chated that this occurs 2 months ago with all the hosts, but after sometimes w/o no action, everything came back. So Please if someone can help very quickly , it would be great.
Thanks in advance.
pierre.

Re: EVA 4400 Host loosing connection to the host
Hi!
What firmware has you EVA? It's recommended to have the last version, because 4400 had some problems in old fw versions.
Regards,
Philipp

The access to the disk depends also on MPIO driver. Install latest version and MPIO manager, so you can see what the MPIO sees.
Look in device manager, how many disks you see. Then in disk manager.
