Re: EVA 4400

No. Once a virtual disk has been deleted, it's gone.

You can, however, create a _new_ virtual disk with the same size / VRAID-level and present it to the same server.

Don't expect to be able to access the old data! The EVA might have allocated different disk areas for the new vdisk and those areas are deleted before use anyway.

Re: EVA 4400

Thanks Uwe.

I have some issue about this EVA last week so the vdisk has been deleted. I hope to i have get the data back.

Other helping for you, if one enclosure has a problem (the disk is OK). Can i get the data when i change another enclosure (i don't remove the position of the disk)?

Thanks,

Re: EVA 4400

The EVA tags all the disk drives with data on them. In the past I have pulled all disks from a system and put them into a new one (without any disks). I did not care about the disk positions, but all data was accessible.
