EVA-5000 san boot - lun 1
hi,
I have a EVA5000, 2 McData SAN switches, using
FCA2404 PCI-x FC HBA's (Emulex lp9802) and trying to install windows 2003 server on a san volume. I have followed the san boot guide, but end up with a message from windows sating that it can't install os on a disk with lun greater than 1. (see message below)
Any idea what the problem might be ?
"The hard disk containing the partition or free space you chose has a logical number (lun) greater than 0. Therefore, your computer’s startup programme cannot gain access to the disk. Setup cannot install windows on this disk. Contact your computer or hard disk controller manufacturer for more information
