My customer has been working with HP Tech Support to work through some problems with their FC drive enclosure. They ordered from us a M5314C and it turns out the I/O and EMU modules are the wrong version to work with their EVA6000. The M5314C is for the EVA 6100 is from what they've been told and that I've confirmed.
My question is can they get the M5314C to work with their EVA 6000 somehow or do they have buy the M5314B instead?

Re: EVA 6000
It is my understanding that it is only necessary to replace the modules to turn it into an M5314B, but these single parts are not cheap. Maybe somebody needs an M5314C and is willing to make a deal.

Solution
The M5314C enclosure introduces a new I/O module with cut through switch (CTS) technology which can increase efficiency during data transfers. It is supported only with EVA4100/6100/8100 configurations with HSV200-B and HSV210-B controllers. This is the only I/O module supported with this array family.
