EVA 8000 controller hangs on "TE:28" when booting

Our EVA 8000 has recently been moved accross town (11 miles) and then powered on after being powered off for almost a year. When we power it on controller B starts fine, but A hangs for a few minutes on TE:28 before going into failure mode. Neither fan is operaional (these were swapped with B and were verified to be operational) and the yellow LED is lit on them. If we boot the controller with the fans removed it boots right up, likewise if we pull both fans while it is hung on TE:28, it will continue booting up. I opened up the controller and re-seated everything with no luck. We successfully upgraded to 6220 and that didn't help either.

If the controller not complete the TEs, the only solution is to replace the Controller itself. proceed to open a case with HP and get the controller replaced.

are the cache batteries on both controllers OK?

if not you should first replace them, if OK then you need your controller be replaced.
