EVA 8400 XCS 09534000

Hi Gurus,

Yesterday we installed a new EVA 8400 in our Environment and its F/ w is XCS 09534000.

I tried searching for the Release notes but was unable to find the same. CE had said that its a new F/w. Kindly send me the link for the release notes.

Re: EVA 8400 XCS 09534000

I have a copy with part number 5697-0167. According to the PDF meta data it was created on 4 May 2010. Unfortunately it is labeled with "HP RESTRICTED - DRAFT", but you should get a copy if you ask for it again.

There is also a new version of the "HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array Compatibility Reference", 5697-0168. Again with restricted distribution.

Re: EVA 8400 XCS 09534000

Thanks Uwe.I have asked for the same from HP support engineer and the CE. Could you tell me which version of MPIO is supported because yesterday i tried to present a VDisk to CV server and it showed me entries of all the disks when i rescaned the disks, i mean disks from all the paths. it didnot filter the duplicate paths.

I installed latest MPIO and it worked. In our environment we have MPIO 3.0 which was working fine with EVA8100. Just wanted to cross verify.

You can check this on:
http://www.hp.com/storage/spock

According to the release notes:
""Connectivity requirements (operating systems, supported configurations) remain the same for XCS 09534000 as they were for XCS 09522000.""
