Re: EVA V_disk Paths on HOST server

Hi,
Each vdisk has its own WWN which identifies it. It has to be sufficient for all platforms to be found.

Re: EVA V_disk Paths on HOST server

Hi,
here is the short example from the RedHat:
# ./evainfo -a
Devicefile Array WWWN Capacity Controller/Port/Mod
/dev/sdc 5000-1FE1-0015-0AE0 6005-08B4-0010-2AB3-0000-3000-0290-0000 2048MB Ctl-A/FP-1/Optimized

Explanation:
5000-1FE1-0015-0AE0 -> EVA WWN

6005-08B4-0010-2AB3-0000-3000-0290-0000 ->VDISK WWN

Re: EVA V_disk Paths on HOST server

It should be easy to read the LUN number of the vdisk from ioscan -fnCdisk, but if you are looking for evainfo, have a look at this:

Hope this helps!
