EVA & XP1024
I have one EVA6000 and a XP1024. when i copy a 44GB file from EVA to EVA costs 7 minutes while copy from XP1024 to XP1024 will cost 17 minutes. and i read a big file 50G from EVA, it cost 10 minutes, and read a file 50G from XP1024 will spend 20 minute.
and i ask someguy who test on the XP1024&Xp12000, copy a 47GB file on XP1024 will cost 28 minutes, 18 minutes on XP1200.
So my question is: if the read a file I wonder if a single large file reading performance on EVA is Good than on XP platform and why? and If above is True, is there is any setting for the large sequential read request on XP1024?

Re: EVA & XP1024
You've told us about the storage systems, but nothing about the disk configurations, or any details about the connected hosts.
There could be many different factors that could affect the performance of different disk systems...
Cheers,
Rob
