EVA4000 - Event file reporting file exceeded

The EVA4000 with CV 6.0.2 is reporting the folowing error on the management event file:

EM: Local event file exceeded max size limit - truncating file

Anybody know how to solve this issue?

Today i face the same problem , I hope u solved above problem , Could you help me to come out with this hurdle at my work site.......

It only means that the sceventfile.binary file has reached 10 MB and Command View will rename it to last.sceventfile.binary and create a new sceventfile.binary.

This is a local copy of the EVA events on the management server disk. Nothing critical.

Since time ago the "controller event log" of the CV does not show the last events. I have renamed the file C: \Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\Sanworks\Element Manager for StorageWorks HSV\cache\5000-1FE1-5009-33F0\5000-1FE1-5009-33F0.sceventfile.binary, then I have rebooted the appliance and already has begun to report the events again.

After replaced storage hardisk some error message generated

Storage System event reporting is still active.

2.EM: Local event file exceeded max size limit - truncating file

Where we find last "last.sceventfile.binary "file

Is anythink critical ?
