EVA4400 Continuous Access overheat
Anyone has the exact figure/ percentage of the CA overheat?
I notice I have 'lost' 200Gb (out of my total 8 * 146Gb FC disk) just to create a DR Group. Is this normal?
I tried to look for Whitepaper & Best practices but find none.
Thanks!

Re: EVA4400 Continuous Access overheat
The answer is in
HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array compatibility reference
http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c01836889/c01836889.pdf
Page 29
By default, with recent firmware versions, the EVA reserves 100 GB in RAID 1 (hence 200 GB in raw space) for the default DR group log file size.
You can change this value, with a minimum of 5 GB.

Re: EVA4400 Continuous Access overheat
Thanks for the infor.
Is EVA uses this 100Gb for the 'write history log'? Where can I change the default allocated size?

Re: EVA4400 Continuous Access overheat
You can assign the log disk size when you setup the DR group. Afterwards you can change it at the source side of your DR groep (second Tab, Logging).
