EVA4K unable to access remaining free space

Hello,

In my storage EVA4K, i could see available space 1TB but when i am creating vdisk i cloud access only 192GB in RAID5. My storage complete space is 11TB usable. allocated is 9.8TB. occupancy level is 95%. Can any one clarify why i am not able to access remaining free space? CVEVA is ver.7 installed.

And what is your disk group protection setting? single, double? What is the size of the largest disk installed?

Does the EVA have multiple disk groups and you are accidently looking at the wrong place?

If not, it sounds like the space management has become confused and a 'controller resync' is required. In that case you should open a call with HP so that this problem is logged and fed back to engineering, even if you can fix the problem on your own.
