EVA5000 Expansion cabinet
I have a EVA5000 2c12d and have added an expansion cabinet 0c6d all appears to be working fine at the moment but it isn't being fully used yet, any things I should be looking out for as this is a critical system?????

Also is there a need to install the disks in the expansion cabinet in certain enclosure bays.

You probably want to make sure you spread out your disks the same way as in the first 12 shelves. Since RSS trys to make groups of 8, I would probably put in 6 disks at a time and if possible, if you still have room left in the first cab, 8 disks at a time... 2 in the old cab and 6 in the new.
You may need to re-organize a bit depending on how your rss is currently situated.

Thks Steven, unfortunalty the existing cab is full and configured into 2 diskgroups. The customer wants a third disk group setup using all the disks in the expansion cabinet. I know the way it configures RSS but I think in the EVA course I did, that the disks in the exp cab have to go in certain locations
