EVA5000 and snapshots limitation

hi,

is there a limitation of snapshots on a EVA5000?
128 snapshots supported?

Andreas,
I never heard about that limit. There is a limit of 7 snapshots per virtual disk and a total of 512 virtual disks per storage system. It is my understanding that a snapshot is counted against the 512 VD count.

There is also an internal 32TByte allocation limit. The size of all virtual disks including snapshots cannot exceed this size. It does not matter if the snapshot is not presented and/or an allocate-on-demand one.
