I admit this is a unusual problem. Normally one buys a EVA5000 assembled in a rack, but we didn't. We bought it without a rack (used) and now I have a bit puzzle here. The question is:
Where can I find a diagram that shows the internal cabling of the EVA5000 rack? How do I route the cables correctly between HSV110, disk shelves, switches etc...?
I spent half a day now to find information about this but it seems HP doesn't want you to take these things apart :-)... or put them together by yourself.
I already have a working EVA4000 with one disk shelf but that one does not need switches. The disks are connected directly to the HSV200 controllers.
Does someone have a good link for me?
Christian

Hi,
this hardware manual is for the 4x00/6x00/8x00 but from the general HW layout point of view the 5x00 is similar to 8x00 so you can get the main ideas for the assembly from this doc:
