EVA6400 Performance issue with Windows 2008 R2 Hyper-V
Hi Team,
We are facing Write Latecny issue with EVA6400 (192*450GB Disk group) especially when doing export(cloning) job or copy date from one LUN to another LUN. Write latency going over 200+ms when doing export job.
Attached some of the graphs attached for reference.
observations:
1. Write Latecncy is going 200+ms when exporting
2. Average KB/Write is going 800KB+
Regards,
Siva

Re: EVA6400 Performance issue with Windows 2008 R2 Hyper-V
EVAs are not designed to handle I/O sizes so big. Can you change some parameter on the application so that it does 128 KB writes?
Also, I see a lot of traffic on the mirror port, this can lead to a saturation point. This happens faster when using VRAID 5 vdisks.

thanks,
Siva
