i have a EVA8100 2C12D fully populated.
i have expanded it with a 0C6D according to the attached diagram. i did connect 1 top terminator in the main enclosure and 1 in the expansion rack.
after i connect all the expansion and the EAB numbers are all correct, i booted the 2 controllers together. they boot fully but shows on both controllers 0000.0000.0000.0000 as the WWN and no name for the EVA.
i then put the 2 controllers off, and boot controller A alone, it came up with correct WWN and EVA name and updated firmware of the enclosures. i then was able to access from the commandview and configured the disk groups. I'm still running with Controller A alone. when i boot Controller B, it still displays 0000.0000.0000.0000 as the WWN and no name for the EVA on it.
Has anyone faced this problem before?
appreciate your helps

SolutionHP StorageWorks EVA4x00-6x00-8x00 - M5314 drive enclosure installation instructions
You have disks in non-allowed bays.
Also, you may have some cabling wrong on the connections of the expansion cabinet.
Enclosures 15 - 17 go in loop 1.
Enclosures 18 - 20 go in loop 2.

You have already asked this same question on somebody else's post which I have answered there - check that post out.
