Email Notifications

Hi,

is it possible to create some form of email notifications for the MSA1000 to notify the recipient of disk health, failures, errors, etc?

Install HP SIM on a server that can see the MSA Storage and manage the MSA using the MSA SMI-S Provider provided by HP.

Once HP SIM knows about the Storage, you can set up a rule within the Automatic Event Handling.

You'd then get an email alert if a disk fails.

You can also set up and retrieve some performance information using the Performance Management Pack (PMP).
