Re: Error when trying to connect to command view via web browswer

Are you going through a proxy ?

Try to connect withou using proxy at all ?

Also you need Java Runtime environment version 1.3.0 . 1.3.1 won't work.

http://java.sun.com/products/archive/j2se/1.3.0/jre/index.html

Otherwise you should be OK with w2k and ie 5.0

Re: Error when trying to connect to command view via web browswer

David,

and command-view is the web-enabled admin tool for HP Virtual arrays, that runs on hp-ux.

It can be connected to by any java enabled browsers running on any OS.

The point is. The problem may be on the client side, and it may be on the server side which most likely will be hp-ux.

I'm not too impressed by the initial problem description though.

With regards to Java versions do you mean on my PC or on the server itself?
