Expanding Array using Smart Array 5300
One of my drives went down over the past few days and after replacing it the RAID failed to rebuild. I am using Raid 5 across 3 18gb drives. The ACU still reports the HardDrive SCSI ID as failed with the new drive in place and I see no expansion or rebuild option in the ACU. The ACU does however show the new harddrives. I have a backup but don't want to mess around with it too much because its my webserver.

What this a drive that was in another system? or just a standby on the shelf?
Do you have another one to swap?

Yes this drive was tested good in another system. This drive also works fine in any other slot in my hotswap other than ID2
