Extending a logical drive - MSA 1000

After adding two 146.8GB drives to my MSA 1000, the raid configuration utility is only giving me the option to extend by about 97GB (149996-514072). I know ADG needs more space for parity and such, but 97GBs left of 392GBs added seems quite low. Am I doing something wrong here, or is this normal for ADG arrays?
Thanks.

Re: Extending a logical drive - MSA 1000

Ryan,

What is the current size of your logical drive and array? Also what version of ACU are you using? There were limitations with earlier versions of the ACU.

Try this version and see if it helps..

Re: Extending a logical drive - MSA 1000

Hello Ryan,

Is the existing array also build with 146GB disks?
What is the firmware of the MSA1000?

With regards,

Upgrading the ACU did the trick. Thanks!
