External Storage XP with MSA1500 disk array
I'd like to use MSA1500 disk array in conjunction with XP12000 disk array, by means of External Storage XP. Disk space within MSA1500 disk array should be used for S-vol disks, whilst P-vol disks should reside within XP12000 disk array. Do I have to propagate disks of accurate size from MSA1500 disk array, or is it enough to propagate one big LUN, which then will be split from XP (Command View XP) environment?
Thank you in advance,
N.

Re: External Storage XP with MSA1500 disk array
I am sorry about that, but I think it's possible to configure propagated disk space from MSA within CV XP environment.

Re: External Storage XP with MSA1500 disk array
thank you for information given, but I miss the point. Please reread my first question. My goal is to overcome limit of 32 LUNs created within MSA box, because I need to create much more LUNs for use in External Storage XP concept.
