F1 to continue

When our DL380 boots up... The inboard array controller run through fine, but when it gets to the 5300 check it stops and prompts me to hit "F1 to continue or F10 to run partition utilities", in which I already have done.

Re: F1 to continue

the f1 prompt is an indication that there is a configuration issue using the embedded controller and the 5300.. I recommend you run f10 and set the controller order if usin the ROC (embedded) for your os set it to first in the controller or and see if that resolves the issue. If not when you run f10 do a control A at the main menu, this will enable the advance mode... when you get to view and edit details and scroll down you will see a listing called advanced features and there set the f1 prompt to diabled and that should resolve the prompt issue. Normally I tell folks to remove the ROC and use the array controller seeing it has better performace and keep the ROC as a backup incase the array fails.
