F2 Storage Controller

Hello

Can someone tell me what is required to connect to my F-2 Proliant Storage tower ? I was under the assumption that I could use any SCSI controller to connect to. I tried with an Adaptec 29160 to no avail. The drives all light up when the card goes through post, but a message comes back telling me there are no drives attached. I have an LSI U-160 card I can try, but no RAID controller with the proper external connection.

Hello

When the f2 Proliant Storage appear, the SCSI Controller was smart-2sl Array Controller. In Any case, the Compaq SCSI Controllers are compatible backwards, try with any Compaq Controller
