FC60 Service Manual

Hi,
I want to replace the battery module of FC60, can anybody post the procedure or any link to replace the battery module.

hi,

basically you need to disable the write back cache, change the battery and then re-enable the batteries write back cache again. You can then chabge the days left remaining in the array manager software.

How are you? Hope you are fine.

There is no actual service manual available on internet for many HP Products as it is HP confidential documentation.Even for EVA there is no service manual available on net.

You can go through the following docs. Refer chapter 6 , Troubleshooting.

Pednekar,

In the last doc link what I posted see chapter 7 for Removal and Replacement procedure. For battery backup unit(BBU) replacement procedure, go to page # 400.

BBU is a hot swappable component.
