Fiber connection settings for HP Continuous Access EVA 6400

Hi all, I have to configure two HP Continuous Access EVA 6400, I have doubts as to the connection ports for Continuous Access:

I have to dedicate a port of each HSV each EVA6400 to zone the switch of fiber and only see these ports. That is, I have to stop dedicated ports between the two EVAs?

The connection can be done with switches firbra, no direct connection?

Hi!

Actually, it's not really dedicated, it can be shared in some zones, for example.

Yes off course. You can even use wwn-based zoning.

Thanks Prokopets, these ports I use for Continuous Access, can be in other zones to see Vdisks hosts? Or use other ports for this?
What is the recommendation?

If you have any official link to view

Hello Juan,

sure you can use this ports also for host connects. But the EVA controllers have to see each other. So you have to zone ports together.

I recommend you ti read this document: http://bizsupport2.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c01800459/c01800459.pdf - it's Continuous Access EVA implementation guide.
