Grow raid partition on MSA500
I have replaced my 72GB drives with the 146GB drives on my MSA500. What is the process to make it "see" the new space available to either expand the current RAID to the new size, or create another RAID partition?
This is in a Netware 5.1 environment.
Thanks.

Re: Grow raid partition on MSA500
Jon:
I am not very familiar with how ACU runs in a Netware environment, if it runs at all... but I think the easiest way run ACU would be to use a boot disk with either a linux os or a Windows OS. You MSA might even have a Boot CD that has Linux and ACU-XE built into it so that you can configure your storage.
In the array configuration utility you will be able to expand your existing array or create a new one. I do not think you can do this from the Smart Array BIOS utility as it has limited functionality.
