HA model 20 (A3550A)

Hi Guys

Soon we going to get a HA model 20 array and i need to get this working which doesnt seem to be as easy as it should. Looking through this forum I assume that we need to have database drives labled as and should be in slots A0,A3,BO,C0 and contain valid SP micro-code for power-up test to succeed. But what about if i have 4 new/unused no data drive that is in those location ? Would this array still pass the pwower-up test assume that all other components are working ? I've been told that we might need a flash drive aswell ? but if we do what does this flash drive do ?

Thanks in advance

Will

This is more than 10 years old ...

I hope this is a gift and you didn't pay for this.

To that server do you want to connect this, it supports only HVD SCSI.

I think it will be very difficult to find some information on this array

Yes i know its old Luk, It's going to be connected to the K460 that we have in stock, Yet another old peice of kit.. I got the user guide for the Array but it doesnt mention about the 4 database drives that other people are mentioning.
